I offer many computer related services, and I encourage you to ask me for advice on any problem or project you have.

Common problems that I solve are things such as:

  • Virus / Trojan / Spyware removal
  • Windows failure recovery
  • Software issues
  • Internet Troubleshooting

Remote Assistance:

  
     
  For most software issues, I can offer to remotely fix your problem, across the Internet. This is more convenient for both parties, however I am just as happy to visit you in person. Remote assistance is a very simple process, assuming your internet is connected and functioning.

Contact me via phone, and I will guide you through the following simple steps:

  1. Download my Remote assistance tool
  2. Double click the file
  3. (Optional) Click "Accept" "Allow" or "Permit" on any firewall dialogues (Example below)
  4. Done! Just sit back and relax

Now that we are connected:

  1. I can then move your mouse and use your keyboard as if I was sitting at the computer.
  2. If the computer needs to be restarted, I will ask you to open the remote tool again after the computer has turned on again.

Don’t worry:

  1. At any point you can decide to close the connection
  2. The software does not permanently install itself, and connects to me only when you ask it to do so
  3. You can remove the Remote Assistance tool by simply deleting the single file you downloaded

There is little complexity, and the process has been simplified, to allow us both to enjoy quick and easy software repairs.

Programming:

  
     
 

I offer custom programming services. I have been programming since the age of 14, and I have developed many small projects, jokes, tools, administrative solutions, and commercial quality software packages. Some of my projects are listed below:

 

Automated file renamer and management tool:

Easily manages, previews and renames digital camera images with frustrating filenames such as IMAGE_0001.jpg

 

Various Data Extractions tools:

I have created many custom tools to help extract the relevant and required information from error reports, spreadsheets, PDF files, and other types of raw data. If the data had been extracted and compiled manually, many more hours of tedious work would have had to be endured.

 

Common tasks desktop tool:

A very useful utility that allows easy access to commonly used tools, programs and commands. Being able to access almost everything you need at a computer, any time you like, is extremely useful and productive. Below is a screenshot of the tool.

Whitelist Executable Process Restrictor:

A professional quality software solution. The Whitelist prevents any unauthorized script or application from running. It was custom designed for, and implemented by Melba High School. It successfully prevented students from running games, and other unauthorized programs. If your company or even home computer requires added security, consider my Whitelist as a secure preventative measure. I am happy to re-write the program to your needs and implement it for you.
